I applied to Blockbuster, online. McDonald's will not have applications until Monday. :(

Tomorrow-- Wendy's, Subway, the Hospital, Publix and Taco Bell.

Mel: It just seems pointless now.
Me: Why?
Mel: Because it'll take you like two weeks to learn how to do everything.
Me: What the fuck do I care? I'll be quitting in three weeks.

I better have a fucking job by Monday.

I do NOT care where I work, as long as it's close(I do not have a car) and easy(nothing that requires responsibility). I'm only going to be working there for three to four weeks.

I agree with Mel. You won't get a job until at least a week or two depending on where and when they get your application and then it'd be a total waste of time.

You should try to find a seasonal position at somewhere like Target, Ross, WalMart, Bealls, or the mall.

Even if I work two weeks, I would have enough(or close to enough--can get help from mommy) money. I just need to be able to learn enough to work for 2-3 weeks. I have thought about them calling me a week or so later, and that sucks, but i'll still work there for a week or so(or as long as I can). I have nothing else to do, and I could really use the money. if not for rent, for food, trinkets to sprouse up my future apt, etc.


And I can't get to any of those places you named. :(

try best buy online... they're probably hiring seasonal/occaisional. if you get the interview, practice selling a pen until you know that pen inside and out and can sell not only that pen, but the service plan that goes with it.

it's only [insert price here] for 4 years and protects against heat, dust, humidity, normal wear and tear, manufacturer's warranty. if anything happens, you just bring it to any best buy and we'll take care of the problem for you free of charge. we also have a no-lemon policy, which means if you have to bring in the item 3 times, it gets replaced the 4th time. also, we will drop off a bag of smiles on your door step and install a rainbow over your house within a week of purchase.

make sure not to tell them you only plan to be working two to three weeks. ha. and it only takes a few days to learn all you need to know, the fast food industry isn't that complicated.

haha yeah. i'm definitely not telling them. i'm going to request off the weekend of the 18th for orientation, but i'm not going to tell them why. haha. if i don't get it off i;m going to quit that weekend haha.

yeah, 16 yr old kiddies work there. i'm sure i'll be able to pick that shit up.
